President and CEO, Schnitzer Properties

Jordan Schnitzer is President and CEO of Schnitzer Properties, a family-owned commercial real estate investment development company based in Portland, Ore. Under his leadership, Schnitzer Properties has grown into one of the top 10 private real estate owners in the West. Founded in 1950, the company will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2025. Schnitzer Properties owns and operates more than 33 million square feet of property, focused primarily on industrial spaces for small and mid-sized manufacturers, distributors, and service providers. The company manages regional offices in Seattle, Portland, Sacramento, the San Francisco Bay Area, Las Vegas, San Diego, Phoenix and Tucson. Beyond his real estate achievements, Schnitzer is an internationally recognized art collector, and ARTNews has named him one of the world's top 200 art collectors. The Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation, with its collection of over 22,000 artworks, has organized and funded more than 180 exhibitions at 120 museums. Additionally, Schnitzer serves as president of the Harold & Arlene Schnitzer CARE Foundation, which has donated over $300 million to fund hundreds of nonprofit projects that touch lives and enrich communities.

As Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Schnitzer Properties, Ryan Irwin is responsible for all aspects of corporate finance operations, treasury management, accounting, IT, tax, lender relationship management, and financing of the company’s commercial real estate portfolio, acquisitions, construction, and redevelopment projects. Irwin joined Schnitzer Properties in 2004 and brings 30 years of real estate finance, strategy, and development experience with the successful completion of over $4 billion in financing transactions with commercial lenders, banks, and life insurance companies. Prior to joining Schnitzer Properties, Irwin held real estate finance positions with Limited Brands in Columbus, Ohio, and Gap Inc. in San Francisco, Calif. Irwin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International Relations from the University of California, Davis and a master’s in international policy from Stanford University.

Her work in benefits and compensation reflects a commitment to aligning business objectives with employee well-being and long-term organizational success. Known for her strategic insight and people-first approach, Raghubansh is dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where employees thrive, positioning Schnitzer Properties as a leader in both innovation and operational excellence.

Steve Roselli

SVP, Regional Manager, Seattle, Portland & San Francisco


Steve Roselli began his real estate career with CB Commercial in 1985, working with brokerage, management, and information services in both the Bellevue and Seattle offices. He joined Schnitzer Properties in 1996, where he is responsible for overseeing all Schnitzer assets in the Seattle, Portland and San Francisco markets. Roselli received his Bachelor of Arts in Finance from the University of Washington in 1984 and is currently on the Board of Directors of Portland Metro Chamber of Commerce. He has also served on the Board of Directors of Portland’s Commercial Association of Brokers and is past President of the Oregon Chapter of NAIOP, as well as Director of Oregon for NAIOP International.

Reed Gottesman

Reed Gottesman is the Senior Vice President and Regional Manager of Schnitzer Properties’ portfolios in Las Vegas, San Diego, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, and Tucson. His regions exceed 15 million square feet, and he leads a team of over 70 seasoned professionals. A graduate from the University of Maryland, Gottesman has more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate. Previously, he served as an industrial broker in Los Angeles’ South Bay port market with CBRE. Before transitioning into commercial real estate, Gottesman began his career as a NASDAQ Market Maker at Deutsche Bank Capital Markets. He is also a past president of NAIOP Southern NV.

John Shorey

John Shorey is responsible for all leasing and management of our Sacramento and East Bay regions. A graduate of University of California at Davis with a degree in architecture, Shorey was a real estate broker for 12 years before joining Schnitzer Properties in 1998. He also specialized in industrial and investment properties throughout the West Coast as a senior advisor at CB Richard Ellis. As a member of NAIOP, ACRE and SIOR, Shorey is very active in the local Sacramento professional organizations. He has also served as the head rugby coach of Jesuit High School for the past 22 years, coaching the team through nine championships during his tenure.

Jay Fetherston is the SVP of the team that manages Schnitzer Properties' retail portfolio including leasing, operations and redevelopment. Responsible for retail acquisitions throughout the western U.S. markets. Fetherston’s background spans financial, legal and municipal roles in acquisitions, development, repositioning and operation of real estate in the private and public sectors, including private equity, REIT, pension fund and government entities. His transaction experience spans the acquisition of over 100 commercial properties and includes redevelopment and repositioning retail shopping centers and malls. Previously, he had the opportunity to apply his private sector skill set to Transit Oriented Development along Phoenix’s expanding light rail corridors. Outside of work, the Wisconsin native enjoys the outdoors, motorcycling, kayaking, and spending time with his family and rescue dogs.

Jim Sather joined Schnitzer Properties in 2015 as Senior Vice President of Development focused on providing development and construction management services throughout the company’s portfolio. Sather brings over 35 years of experience in commercial construction and development. His responsibilities have included all aspects of project management including entitlement, design management and construction. Sather holds a Construction Engineering Management degree from Oregon State University in Corvallis, Ore. and has served on the Board of Directors for NAIOP Oregon Chapter.

Erica Hetfeld-Schpak

Chief of Staff


Jordan D. Schnitzer named Erica Hetfeld-Schpak as his chief of staff in 2023. She executes external strategies and special projects for Mr. Schnitzer. As a lobbyist in her home state of Oregon, Hetfeld-Schpak represented some of the largest companies in America and consulted on some of the most contested political campaigns of the last two decades. She managed two statewide business advocacy groups and secured one of the biggest wins in Oregon politics when she led the coalition to defeat a multi-billion-dollar tax increase in the most expensive ballot measure fight in state history. She is a fourth-generation Oregonian and graduated from the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism and Communication.

Diana Hodge

VP, Senior Counsel, Retail


For over 30 years, Diana Hodge has focused her law practice on retail leasing. As a highly experienced real estate attorney, she has negotiated hundreds of leases with national anchor tenants, including Nordstrom Rack, Ulta, Ross and Starbucks. Hodge has been with Schnitzer Properties for over 19 years and represents the company in all facets of retail leasing transactions. She is a strategic negotiator who artfully balances her business savvy with her refined writing skills to negotiate co-tenancy clauses, exclusive uses, prohibited uses and other complex lease provisions in a detailed and thoughtful manner to protect our company. Prior to coming to Schnitzer Properties, Hodge worked in private practice in Portland, Ore., representing the Oregon Public Employee’s Retirement Fund on retail, office, and industrial properties leasing matters.

Edward Kanter has been a member of the Schnitzer Properties team since 1996. In his current role, Kanter oversees property accounting and reporting for the company’s extensive portfolio, which spans over 30 million square feet of industrial, office, and retail properties.  Kanter brings a wealth of experience in property management, including both fee and owner-managed properties. Before joining Schnitzer Properties, he worked in various accounting and finance roles within the real estate industry, where he honed his skills in financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning. He holds a degree in Accounting from University of West Florida and received his certified public accountant (CPA) license from California.

As Chief Information Officer at Schnitzer Properties, Kyriacos Kitsis drives the organization’s technology strategy, spearheading both strategic and tactical IT initiatives that align with the company’s mission. With over 30 years of experience in Information Technology across public and private sectors, Kitsis is recognized for his ability to build high-performing IT organizations. Before joining Schnitzer Properties in 2015, he held senior leadership roles at AirTouch Cellular, Sony Pictures Entertainment, the County of Ventura, and the State of Oregon. Kitsis earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science and mathematics from the University of Central Oklahoma, an MBA from Pepperdine University, and completed with honors the Executive Program in Management at UCLA's Anderson School of Management.

Brian Mattocks serves is the Vice President of Tax and Estate Planning at Schnitzer Properties where he helps lead a tax team in providing comprehensive tax strategies and estate planning solutions for the company and its owners. With over 16 years of experience in tax law and accounting, Mattocks specializes in navigating complex regulatory environments to optimize tax efficiency and wealth preservation. Prior to joining Schnitzer properties, Mattocks held tax consulting positions at Moss Adams and PWC, where he developed innovative tax strategies and streamlined estate planning processes. His expertise encompasses a wide range of areas, including trusts, charitable giving, and business succession planning. Mattocks received his Law Degree and MBA from Seattle University and obtained his LLM in Taxation from the University of Washington.

Jordan Novinger

VP, Tax


Jordan Novinger helps oversee Schnitzer Properties’ corporate tax department. In this role, he manages various areas of business taxation, including income tax compliance, tax strategy and planning, entity structuring, property tax assessments and appeals, and tax examinations. He helps Schnitzer Properties stay compliant and efficient in an evolving and complex tax regulatory environment. Prior to joining Schnitzer Properties, Novinger spent six years at Perkins & Co, where he helped clients with a wide range of tax compliance and tax planning matters. He spent much of his time at Perkins working with closely held real estate companies as well as other pass-through entities in a variety of industries. Novinger is a CPA and received a Master of Accounting degree from University of Oregon.

Jeff Nudelman

Jeff Nudelman is a fourth-generation Portlander with a long history of service to the community. He has led and served on boards of several local and national agencies, including Friends of the Children Portland, Greater Portland Hillel, Oregon Zoo Foundation, University of Oregon Alumni Association, Ronald McDonald House Charities Oregon, Mittleman Jewish Community Center, American Jewish Committee and Peninsula Drainage District #1. Nudelman was previously named one of the Portland Business Journal’s “Forty Under Forty”. After more than two decades of practice at a large Portland law firm where he served as the head of the Business Section, he joined Schnitzer Properties in 2008. Prior to practicing law, he worked as an aide to US Congressman Les AuCoin.

Wes Raborn

VP, Senior Counsel


Wes Raborn, Senior Counsel, Acquisitions, represents Schnitzer Properties in complex real estate transactions. Since joining the company in 2015, he has successfully closed over $1 billion in real estate purchases in six western states. In addition, Raborn negotiates commercial industrial leasing and development agreements throughout Schnitzer Properties’ extensive and mixed portfolio of tenants. Prior to joining Schnitzer Properties, Raborn served as Vice President & General Counsel at Shilo Inns from 2009-2014 with attention to all company-owned hotels, restaurants, management and holding companies, and their respective employees in ten states. During his tenure at Shilo, Raborn was instrumental in selling over twenty hotels and provided legal and business counsel related to financing, real estate, and corporate transactions. Raborn also worked in private practice for several years wherein he engaged multifaceted business and real estate transactions.

Keith Rozgo is an experienced Corporate Controller with 20+ years of accounting and financial management experience, specializing in accounting within the real estate and construction industries. He most recently served as the senior financial leader for the largest crane company in the Pacific Northwest, successfully leading them through a period of significant transition and growth. Since joining Schnitzer Properties in 2022, he has managed all corporate accounting, financial reporting, investor reporting and treasury management services for the company. Additionally, Rozgo is the Treasurer of the Harold & Arlene Schnitzer Care Foundation, whose philanthropic mission is to support the well-being of families within the community.  He is an active CPA and received his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois.

Michael Martin-Tellis

VP, Finance


Michael Martin-Tellis has been with Schnitzer Properties since 2000, where he secures financing for the company's real estate portfolio, construction, redevelopment projects, and new acquisitions, while managing lender relationships. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Portland State University and a master’s in business administration from the University of Oregon. Beyond his professional role, Martin-Tellis serves on the board of directors for Adelante Mujeres, a Portland area non-profit dedicated to empowering low-income Latina women and their families through education and enterprise programs. Additionally, he coaches teams of students at the Oregon Executive MBA program, supporting roughly 90 current MBA students during their academic and professional journeys.

Angela Retz Williams joined Schnitzer Properties in 2013. As a member of the Finance team, Williams is responsible for managing lender relationships and financing the company’s commercial real estate portfolio and construction projects. Williams started her career in commercial real estate banking and brings over 13 years of banking experience with various banks where she focused on construction and permanent lending throughout Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. Her expertise lies in project feasibility underwriting, financial analysis, and relationship management. Williams is a Portland native and a graduate of Portland State University.

VP, Seattle Region Manager


Jake Roselli started his career with Schnitzer Properties in 2015 as a Leasing Associate in the Manager in Training Program. In 2024, Roselli was promoted to Vice President of the Seattle Region and is responsible for the leasing, operations, and strategic growth of the Seattle regional office. Roselli is an active member of the NAIOP Washington State and BOMA Seattle chapters serving on the South Sound and Industrial committees, respectively. He is a graduate of Oregon State University with a degree in Finance.

Amanda McCauley is the Vice President of Leasing & Operations for the Las Vegas Region at Schnitzer Properties, where she oversees approximately 11 million square feet of commercial real estate. She joined Schnitzer in 2013 and brings over 20 years of real estate experience in both the residential and commercial sectors. Before her current role, McCauley worked in leasing and property management in Southern California and the Chicagoland area. She holds a degree from DePaul University and is an active member of NAIOP and CCIM.

As Regional Leasing Director, Steve Barragar leads the Portland leasing efforts for the 4.6 million square feet of industrial and office buildings that make up the diverse Portland Region Portfolio. With 25 years of commercial real estate experience, Steve was an industrial real estate broker with Colliers International and previously Grubb & Ellis. Barragar was ranked by Co-Star Group among Portland’s 2004 top 20 brokers based upon industrial leasing transaction volume prior to joining Schnitzer Properties in 2005. He is past president of the NAIOP Oregon Chapter, and is a licensed principal real estate broker in the State of Oregon. Barragar received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Puget Sound.

Delilah Richman

VP, Leasing & Operations, Seattle Region


Delilah Richman joined Schnitzer Properties’ Seattle Region and manages teams, operations, and leasing of its 2.3 million-square-foot office/industrial, 575+ multi-tenant portfolio. She has successfully integrated 10 acquisitions, comprising of more than 50 buildings, into the Seattle portfolio and has supported the corporate headquarters acquisition team in their due diligence investigations for future projects.  She has personally closed over $5-10M+ annually in lease deal transactions. She serves as a regional mentor, EDI committee board member, and corporate Operations Leader Group member, integrating company policies and procedures. She also supports the Software Support team with industry related facilities software upgrades. Prior to joining Schnitzer Properties, Richman began her commercial real estate career with LaSalle Partners, managing Class A Office and Retail product in Minneapolis and Seattle. She was an active member of the national elite “LaSalle Swat Team”, launching new office towers throughout the USA, training new staff, and setting up new office locations as additional Class A buildings came on board. Delilah is an active member and has served in various capacities on NAIOP, BOMA, and CREW committees, and the Board of Directors for the Seattle South Park Business Association.

Cooper Sutherland

VP, Acquisitions & Development, Arizona Region


Cooper Sutherland is responsible for Schnitzer Properties’ Acquisitions & Development in Phoenix, Ariz. Prior to joining Schnitzer Properties in 2022, he held various management positions over a 20-year career in development, acquisition, asset management, and leasing. Sutherland has an undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas and is a licensed Arizona real estate broker. He served as co-chairman on the 2010-2011 NAIOP Night at The Fights and was one of the founding members of the Steering Committee for the Developing Leaders for NAIOP in Arizona. He also served on the Executive Council for the Boys and Girls Club of Metropolitan Phoenix.

Sandy Brownstone is an accomplished real estate professional with over 20 years of experience managing Commercial Office, Retail and Medical Office assets in the San Francisco Bay Area. Brownstone opened the Cesar Pelli designed, JPMorganChase West Coast Headquarters known as 560 Mission and managed the Sutter Health/CPMC portfolio consisting of more than 3 million square feet of owned and leased medical buildings.  Brownstone attended California State University, Sacramento Business School with a concentration in Real Estate & Land Use Affairs and holds the IREM Certified Property Manager (CPM) and BOMA Real Property Administrator (RPA) designations.  She was also named IREM San Francisco’s 2023 “CPM of the Year” and is currently the Vice President of Membership and will be the 2025 IREM San Francisco President.

VP, Operations Manager, East Bay


Since joining Schnitzer Properties in 2005, Monica Graham has played a pivotal role in overseeing leasing and operations for the East Bay region. She also manages a premier Class A multi-tenant, full-service office park located within the prestigious Hacienda Business Park. Her responsibilities include leading a skilled team of property managers, engineers, and administrative staff, along with coordinating a wide range of third-party vendors, from custodial services to tenant improvements and capital projects. In her role as a member of Schnitzer Properties’ Operations Leadership Group, Graham actively contributes to the development and implementation of company-wide best practices, spearheading training initiatives, and driving operational excellence across all aspects of property management. A dedicated industry professional, Graham is an active member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and CREW-East Bay. She holds the distinguished Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation and a California Real Estate License. Additionally, she serves as Secretary-Treasurer for the Hacienda Business Park Owners Association.

Rob Mecklenborg

Senior Counsel


As Senior Counsel, Rob Mecklenborg represents Schnitzer Properties on a wide variety of real estate and corporate matters. Throughout his career, he has played an integral role in many large and complex projects including the development and financing of office buildings, industrial facilities, mixed-use projects, shopping centers, and corporate headquarters. He has extensive experience in assisting clients on project finance matters, development, joint ventures, acquisition and disposition, construction agreements, and public-private partnerships. Prior to joining Schnitzer Properties, Mecklenborg was in private practice at a large law firm. His education consists of a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Miami University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati College of Law.

Brittany Falkers

Director of Communications


Brittany Falkers is the Director of Communications for Schnitzer Properties, specializing in communication strategies, messaging, and media relations. After working as a TV news reporter and anchor for more than a decade, Falkers joined the Schnitzer Properties team in February 2024. Falkers has a passion for storytelling and making community connections. Her role at Schnitzer Properties allows her to do both by sharing the impactful work of Schnitzer Properties, the Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation, and the Harold & Arlene Schnitzer CARE Foundation with the public. She moved to Portland, Ore., in early 2019. Before that, she lived and worked in Green Bay, Wisc., and Duluth, Minn. She grew up in Minnesota and graduated from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
